    Guth's Lodge at Iliamna

A fishing adventure you'll never forget!

This is remote fishing at its best. An hour and a half charter flight out of Achorage takes you to the gravel runway at Pedro Bay, Alaska on Iliamna Lake where Marty and crew meet you at the plane. A thirty minute ride by jet boat brings you to the lodge. Get settled in your room, join the group for lunch, don the waders, and some of the best fishing on the planet begins!

Guth's Lodge offers the opportunity to fish for five species of pacific salmon, as well as rainbow, halibut, arctic char, grayling and northern pike. There is no end to the options from the Guth's base, starting with the Iliamna river just out the front door. But that's just the beginning besides navigating the local streams, "Guth Air" with the private runway carved into the mountain directly behind the lodge ("Guth International") provides complete fishing options in the region including the Guth's "Nush Camp" on the famed Nushagak River. The trip isn't complete without making the short trip in the boat up the river and a six mile drive through the mountains (on the only road in the area) over to Cook Inlet for Halibut Fishing abord the "Reel Fast".

For over 60 years the Guth family has been involved in guiding the public through their outdoor adventures. (Guth's on the Salmon River)
